HUNTERSVILLE, N.C.– Officials with the Huntersville Fire Department say a dog died in a house fire Saturday morning.
The fire ripped through the home on Klamath Place in Huntersville.
Officials say the fire was started by an unattended candle and that the home is a total loss.
No further information has been released at this time.
