CHARLOTTE, N.C.– A man was shot and killed Saturday night in North Charlotte, according to police.
The shooting happened around 10:21 p.m. Saturday in the 6000 block of The Plaza.
When officers arrived they found Aaron Shealey, 28, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on scene by Medic.
Police have charged Garrett Johnson, 26, with first degree murder.
Police say the Shealey and Johnson knew each other and that this was not a random act of violence.
