Charlotte-Mecklenburg made the decision to operate on a delay, a little before 3pm Monday afternoon. Β Thing is, they’re pushing school back two hours, and according to Chief Meteorologist Reg Taylor, that actually makes things worse. Β Kids who normally head out at, say, 6am will be out at 8am instead, and it will actually be colder then, because this Arctic Vortex doesn’t follow normal weather patterns. Β So did CMS make the right call to delay school for cold, or should they have just cancel school all together?
