Students Concerned About Safety After Shooting Near UNC Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, NC – Some students at UNC Charlotte say they’re worried about their safety after a shooting at an off-campus apartment complex.
Police say it happened just before 8:30 Saturday night at the University House Apartments.
Investigators say the victim was shot in the chest. We’re told he was taken to CMC and was alert when he arrived.
“Yeah, I just don’t feel safe here anymore. There was someone shot outside my door, so I don’t know how I feel about that,” says UNC Charlotte junior Fakhar Warraich.
