Davidson’s Sullivan: “We need to have more Fun”

DAVIDSON, NC (WCCB Charlotte) — Davidson senior Brian Sullivan says there has been a different feel to this year’s team. It has yet to show on the scoreboard.

The Wildcats are 4-0 and come off a 83-70 win over Division-III Dennison College on Saturday. It was a milestone 500th victory for Davidson veteran coach Bob McKillop. But what Sullivan was talking about in the postgame press conference was the amount of ‘fun’ this team is having.

“That was one of the best things about our team last year is that we played so free,” Sullivan said. “Maybe its because of the outside expectations coming into this year. But I think that’s one of the things you will see different pretty soon.”

Sullivan and the Wildcats (4-0) will play a first road game of the season on Tuesday at Charlotte (1-4).
