CHARLOTTE, N.C.– A woman has been sent to Carolinas Medical center after she was struck by a car at the 2800 block of Milton road just after 7p.m. Saturday night.
Police at the scene say that it was just an accident and that the female victim walked out into the street when the male driver struck her.
Alcohol is not a factor and no charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
Police are still investigating the crash.
