Get ready, Coldplay will be performing at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
The band made the announcement on Thursday afternoon. Sports Center shared the information on Twitter shortly after.

The halftime show will give Coldplay a chance to perform for quite an audience. Last yearβs Super Bowl match-up between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks reportedly set a U.S. television record with 114.4 million viewers.
The 2016 Super Bowl in San Francisco is set for February 7th.
