13 Arrested During Iredell County Drug Roundup

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Police arrested more than a dozen people during a roundup of alleged drug offenders.  The Narcotics Investigations Unit of the Mooresville Police Department say the operation spanned from March – June, 2015. 

Thirteen people have been charged with 82 counts of various drug offenses. As a result of the roundup, detectives seized 118.2 grams of marijuana, 31.7 grams of cocaine, 8.3 grams of MDMA (Ecstasy), 60 dosage units of methadone, and $3,875 of U.S. currency. 

The following were charged:

Darrell Wellington Caldwell, 50, of 554 Kelly Avenue, Mooresville – 2 counts of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine; 2 counts of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine Within 1000 Feet of a Child Care Facility; 2 counts of Possession of Cocaine; 1 count of Possession of Marijuana; 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Fredrick Jamar Cherry, 25, of 162 S. Sycamore Street, Mooresville – 1 count of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana; 1 count of Felony Aiding and Abetting

Eric Darnell Frazier, 40, of 532 N. Church Street, Mooresville – 2 counts of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana; 1 count of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine; 3 counts of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine Within 1000 Feet of a School; 3 counts of Maintaining a Dwelling for Sale of a Controlled Substance; 1 count of Felony Possession of Cocaine; 2 counts of Possession of Marijuana; 3 counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Rose Mary Haskell, 52, of 113 Wild Rose Loop, Mooresville – 2 counts of Trafficking Opium; 1 count of Sell and Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Substance; 1 count of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance; 1 count of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance; 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Lamarell Quntwain Horton, 36, of 140 Piedmont Pointe Drive, Mooresville – 1 count of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine; 1 count of Maintaining a Vehicle for Sale of Controlled Substance; 1 count of Possession of Cocaine; 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Chazman Antonio Houston, 28, of 315 Culp Street, Mooresville – 2 counts of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance; 2 counts of Sell and Delivery of a Schedule I Controlled Substance; 1 count of Felony Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance; 1 count of Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance

Juan Antonio Hunter, 28, of 412 McLelland Avenue, Mooresville – 2 counts of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine; 2 counts of Possession of Cocaine; 1 count of Conspiracy to Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine; 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Zachary Dominic Laforce, 19, of 125 Franklin Drive, Mooresville – 2 counts of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine; 2 counts of Possession of Cocaine; 2 counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Christopher Maurice Murphy, 28, of 290 Carlyle Road, Mooresville – 1 count of Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance; 1 count of Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for the Sale and Delivery of a Controlled Substance (These charges have not been served. Murphy is currently in the custody of the North Carolina Department of Correction and will be served with the charges upon his release.)

Briana Lashay Overcash, 22, of 315 Culp Street, Mooresville – 1 count of Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance; 1 count of Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for Sale and Delivery of a Controlled Substance; 1 count of Misdemeanor Child Abuse

Leonard Parham, 34, of 314 Clover Avenue, Mooresville – 1 count of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana; 2 counts of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Controlled Substance Within 1000 Feet of a Park; 1 count of Felony Aiding and Abetting; 1 count of Possession of Marijuana; 2 counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; 1 count of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine; 1 count of Felony Possession of Cocaine (Parham is still at large and has not been served with the charges.
