Three Injured After Car Crashes Through East Charlotte Medical Center

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three people were injured after a car went crashing into the lobby of a medical center in east Charlotte.

Police say the car crashed into Central Carolina Medical Center on Albemarle Road around 10am.  Three people were taken to local hospitals for treatment.  

Witnesses say they were in the building when the car crashed through the front window.  At least one of the victims was a child.  The man driving the car allegedly backed into the building and is currently being questioned by police.
