Lincolnton Police Arrest 17 In Child Predator Sting, Including Local High Teacher and Coach
LINCOLNTON, NC– Lincolnton police department conducted a sting operation that led to the arrest of 17 sex offenders from February through May 2015.
The operation was carried out by officers posing as either an underage girl or boy who would communicate through online chats.
Police arrested and charged 17 individuals who had agreed to meet undercover officers for sexual activity, authorities say some of the offenders brought alcohol and controlled substances to meet officers who they thought to be underage children.
The following men were arrested for attempting to meet and engage in sexual activity with underage children.
