Teen Takes Joy Ride and Crashes into Home

 CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say a 14-year-old girl stole her parents car and crashed into an house in East Charlotte Saturday.

Police say the girl attempted to make a U-turn and hit the gas instead of the brake.  No one was hurt, but charges against the teen are pending.
