Grand Opening Celebration for Sugar Creek Brewing Company
Sugar Creek Brewing Company opened its doors for business on September 19th and is following that up with a Grand Opening Celebration to be held on Friday, October 10th and Saturday, October 11th. Festivities during the Grand Opening Celebration will include fresh craft beer, live music, barbecue, outdoor games, and tours of the newly renovated facility.
Founded by Joe Vogelbacher, Eric Flanigan, and Todd Franklin, Sugar Creek Brewing Co. is Charlotte’s first Belgian-inspired brewery. It is dedicated to the craftsmanship of fresh, high-quality beer in a style and commitment representative of Belgian’s Trappist monks. Current ales include a Belgian White, Farmhouse Saison, Belgian Dubbel, and Sugar Creek’s flagship Pale Ale.
“Sugar Creek Brewing Co. is founded on the principles of happiness, personal exploration, and breaking the rules. Belgian brewers make the world’s best beer because they are never afraid to challenge the status quo. They do this while always being sure to maintain the highest standards of quality. At Sugar Creek Brewing Co., we hope to maintain the same level of commitment to excellence for Charlotte’s beer lovers. We will do this by providing an array of new and exciting beers that can be enjoyed with your friends and family in a warm, festive and one of a kind taproom environment. At the end of the day our goal is simple, we want you to smile when you try your first Sugar Creek Ale like we did when we tried our first premium Belgian Ale” commented CEO Joe Vogelbacher.
