Lincolnton Woman In Jail On Trafficking Charges After Warrantless Search
LINCOLNTON, N.C. – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged a 32-year-old Lincolnton woman with trafficking prescription medication after a warrantless search on Friday.
Sabrina Whitworth is behind bars after investigators conducted a warrantless search as part of the probation sentence.
During the search, officers seized 11 grams of Hydrocodone and Opana. They also confiscated drug paraphernalia including syringes, and a spoon and straws with drug residue.
Whitworth was charged with one count each of felony Trafficking in Opium or Heroin and Maintaining a Dwelling for a Controlled Substance. She was also charged with one misdemeanor count of Probation Violation and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Whitworth was placed under $55,000 secured bond in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center.
