Man With A Shotgun Robs Salisbury Walgreens

SALISBURY, N.C. – Heavy police presence surrounded the Walgreens on E. Innes Street in Salisbury Sunday night after a man with a shotgun robbed the pharmacy.

The husband of a pharmacist working inside said that he received a call from his wife telling him to get up there.

Police confirmed that there were eight people inside the store when a man with a shotgun jumped over the pharmacy counter demanding prescription drugs. 

Police say the suspect is described as a white male, over 6 feet tall, 230-240 pounds, wearing camouflage pants, a grey long sleeve shirt and a military boonie style hat.

No injuries were reported.
