Police Search For Weapon After One Hit By A Car in North Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD responded to an Assault with Deadly Weapon in reference to a person struck by a car around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. 

Police responded to 5400 Statesville Rd. in North Charlotte and say they aren’t sure if there was intention in this incident.

Officials are searching the scene for a weapon. Medic took one person to CMC Main with life threatening injuries. A witness says the person taken to the hospital was the one hit by the car.

The scene is still under investigation.
