CMPD Asking For Public’s Help Locating Wanted Man

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are asking for the public’s help after they say a man cut off his electronic monitor on Saturday. 

28-year-old Eddie Stokley is wanted by CMPD on outstanding warrants for Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device and Rape. 

Stokley was court ordered to wear the monitoring device on April 8 as a condition of his pre-trial release. On Saturday, May 3, Stokley cut off the device. His last known location was 1400 Bethel Road in Charlotte. 

Police are asking you to call 911 if you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Stokley.
