One Killed After Officer Involved Shooting In Lancaster County
LANCASTER, S.C. — The Lancaster County Sheriff is investigating after an officer-involved shooting on Grace Avenue.
Investigators say three deputies responded to a call about an erractic driver around 8 a.m.
EMS originially was called for a traffic accident but when they got on the scene they found 55-year-old Ingrid Mayer dead.
Police are not saying why deputies fired their weapons but they are confirming the victim died from a gun shot wound.
The deputies have been place on administrative leave and SLED has been called in to investigate.
