MECKLENBURG COUNTY — The Charlotte Fire Department dive team and Belmont Police are assisting in an article search today in the Catawba River.
Officials with Charlotte FD and Belmont PD say they received a request for assistance this morning from Mint Hill PD.
Officials have not said what it is they are looking for, but say it is a search as part of an on-going investigation. They also noted that it was not a body recovery or life saving operation.
