CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Crews are working to repair part of Sharon Amity Road due to a pavement failure.Β
The North Carolina Department of Transportation said the repairs will not be completed until Thursday afternoon. Β
One lane of northbound Sharon Amity near Independence Boulevard has been shut down for the repairs. Β Drivers are encouraged to use Wendover Road and Eastway Drive as an alternate route.
