BOONE, N.C. — Police say two men scammed a clerk at Boone Kangaroo Express out of money.
Investigators say the men entered the Kangaroo Express on Highway 421 and requested change from the clerk.
After receiving his change, police say the man made several additional requests for additional change. This resulted in the store being scammed out of money.
