BOONE, N.C. — Police say two men scammed a clerk at Boone Kangaroo Express out of money. Β
Investigators say the men entered the Kangaroo Express on Highway 421 and requested change from the clerk. Β
After receiving his change, police say the man made several additional requests for additional change. Β This resulted in the store being scammed out of money. Β
