Neighbors Hold Breaking And Entering Suspect At Gunpoint Until Police Arrive

HARMONY, N.C. — Deputies say neighbors helped detain an accused breaking and entering suspect in Harmony. 

Investigators say Joshua Wingo was stealing items from a outbuilding on East Houstonville Road when the neighbors noticed him acting suspiciously. 

A neighbor allegedly held Wingo at gunpoint until deputies arrived.  Detectives found several items inside Wingo’s car that had been stolen from the outbuilding.

Wingo has been charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
