CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Photos reportedly taken after an alleged domestic violence incident between Greg Hardy and his former girlfriend have been released online.
Sports news website Deadspin says it obtained the photos, along with other records from the case.
The disturbing images show Hardy’s then-girlfriend, Nicole Holder, covered in bruises after a confrontation that occurred in his uptown Charlotte condo.
Holder accused Hardy of throwing her to the floor and into a bathtub, strangling her, slamming her into a futon that was covered with guns, and threatening to shoot her if she told anyone about the fight.
The former Carolina Panther was charged in 2014 with communicating threats and assault on a female.
It was announced on November 5th that the charges will be expunged from his criminal record.
