HUDSON, N.C.– Hudson police have one person in custody after a man was shot in the head Friday night.
Police responded to a gunshot wound call in the 300 block of Main Street at 9:29 p.m. Friday. When they arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police say that the suspect and victim got into a fight inside of a home before the shooting occurred.
The victim was treated for his injuries at Caldwell Memorial Hospital and was released.
Police took Kirk Hunter Blinson, 38, into custody and he is in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $50,000 secure bond pending a September 28 court appearance.
