
UPDATE: SLED is currently investigating the shooting that took place Monday night at Spartanburg Methodist College.
Officials say one man was killed in a confrontation with campus police. Investigators are currently gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses, but say there is no body or dash cam video of the incident.
Officials with SLED say no other information is being released at this time.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Spartanburg Methodist College is on lockdown after a campus shooting.
Officials say a campus officer was involved in the shooting that took place on Monday night.
The school sent out a post on Facebook and Twitter telling students to go to their residence hall room and stay there.
