CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a person was shot in west Charlotte on Monday afternoon.
The shooting occurred on the 100 block of South Smallwood place around 2:45 p.m.
The victim has been taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Their identity has not been released.
