UPDATE: Police say the shooting that took place early this morning at the University Walk Circle does not appear to be related to the shootings that took place in that area within the last two weeks.
Investigators say the shooter and victims knew each other. They are now looking into whether drugs may have been involved.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are looking for the suspect they say shot a man during a robbery early Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened in the University Walk Apartment Complex just after 1:00am this morning.
Police say the suspect attempted to rob Brandon Shevlin, 23, and Kathryn Hogan, 20, at gunpoint, and then shot Shevlin in the arm during the robbery.
Police are still investigating and say no arrest has been made in this case.
