CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C.– The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to a deadly accident Friday afternoon.
Troopers say the single-car accident happened on Bailey Sawmill Road around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
A 54-year-old man who was not wearing a seat belt died in the accident after police say his vehicle ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree.
