Denver, NC – A Mecklenburg County man who was allowed to stay with family members in eastern Lincoln County because of financial problems has been charged with 2 felony counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child.
Detectives arrested Phillip James Rucker, 37, of Huntersville, NC on Friday, accused of inappropriately touching a 14 year old female, to whom he is related. The incidents allegedly occurred earlier this month at the victim’s residence on Rufus Road in Denver.
Rucker was taken before a Lincoln County magistrate and placed in the Lincoln County Detention Center under an $80,000 secured bond. He had a first appearance in court today.
