CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fire investigators have determined that a house fire on Sardis Lane was intentionally set.
On Sunday, at 2:30 p.m., a neighbor knocked on the door to Fire Station 19 in regards to a fire nearby. When fire crews arrived on the scene, they saw heavy fire and smoke coming from the vacant home.
32 firefighters were needed to control the flames according to officials. Damages were estimated to be more than $10,000.
No injuries were reported.
