CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Armed Robbery Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the armed robbery suspect pictured below.

On January 18, 2015, at approximately 11:15 p.m., an armed suspect entered the Honey Tupelo Café, on South Boulevard and demanded property from the business. After receiving the property, the suspect then fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male with a mustache/goatee and wearing a light grey zip-up jacket with a black hoodie underneath, a baseball hat, dark pants and light brown boots.
