13 of 14 Abandoned Puppies Adopted

CHARLOTTE, NC — A fresh start for 14 puppies found abandoned on the side of Arrowood Road.  All but one of the mastif-mix dogs have been adopted from the Humane Society of Charlotte.  

Volunteers call them the Luv Box Puppies, because a passerby found them abandoned in a diaper box back in December.  We spoke with one family picking up their puppy.

“I think she feels really lucky to have me,” said Jenia Rosario.  “Cause I love dogs more than anything, and I’d do anything just to keep her with me.”

The puppies were only about two weeks old when they were found.  Volunteers bottle-fed them for weeks.
