CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after someone was shot and killed in northeast Charlotte.
The shooting happened Friday morning on Research Drive in University City. Police say an employee of the Springhill Suites Hotel found the victim dead of a gunshot wound inside a room.
Police say it’s early in the investigation and they are trying to determine of the shooting was self inflicted.
