SALISBURY, NC — Police made an arrest on Tuesday after a missing teen was found shot to death in her car.
Police say around 7:00 pm Monday evening they were tipped off about a vehicle connected to a missing person being found in a parking lot on 311 North Long Street in Salisbury.
Inside the vehicle police found the body of Talisha Crowder, 19, of Salisbury. Police say she had died of a gunshot wound.
Brandon Hawkins, 20, was charged with First Degree Murder and Larceny of a Firearm. He was Crowder’s ex-boyfriend.
Hawkins was placed in the RC Detention Center under no bond. His first appearance is set for January 21st.
