CLOVER, SC — A former Clover High School teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a male student is out of jail on bond.
Police charged 24-year-old Michael Landreth on Monday with sexual battery of a 16 or 17-year-old student and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to an arrest warrant, the incident happened at Landreth’s home in Lake Wylie in September. Investigators say Landreth also gave the teen alcohol.
He has resigned from the high school.
