CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — Flooding has cause a road closures in Caldwell County. Officials say Indian Grove Road which is north of Lenoir is closed at the intersection of Highway 321 North. Cottrell Hill Road at the intersection of Sezert Road is now closed as well.
Caldwell County Emergency Services are asking citizens to drive safe after three inches of rain have fallen since early Wednesday morning.
If residents are driving in these areas they are asked to use the northern entrance to Indian Grove Road at either Steele Town Road or Highway 268. For access to Cottrell Road, residents are advised to enter on the western end by Zacks Forks Road or on the eastern end by Wildwood Road.
