CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for one suspect after a vehicle fled from police and crashed.
On Thursday at approximately 5:49 p.m., an officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle on North Graham Street near I-85.
The vehicle refused to pull over and the officer followed the car until it crashed near Reagan and Hampton Way. The officer did not engage in a vehicle pursuit.
One occupant was immediately taken in to custody and they the second suspect took off running on foot. Aviation and K9 Units responded to the scene to assist.
At this time the suspect is still on the run and has not been located. WCCB will provide updates.
