A law enforcement boycott of Beyonce’s tour appears to be picking up steam. So far, police unions in Miami, Tampa, Nashville and Houston have all agreed to boycott upcoming concerts in their area.

The backlash stems from the release of her song “Formation.” Beyonce performed that song during the Super Bowl half time show just a few weeks ago. Critics object to the “Black Lives Matter” themes, and specifically to the backup dancers who were wearing Black Panther-like regalia.

“We’re not going to put up with her anti-police message. We’re not going to voluntarily show up there for a woman, a woman that has portrayed a message that is anti-police,” said Miami Fraternal Order of Police President Javier Ortiz.

So far, Beyonce has not issued a response to the boycott.

That brings us to our Question of the Night: Do you agree with the police who are boycotting Beyonce’s concerts? The Edgitators battle it out…
