
CHARLOTTE, NC– Police have charged the serving Captain of the Charlotte Fire Department with misdemeanor larceny after prescription pills were missing from a residence.
Police say Charlie David Morris was assisting medics at a residence on Broken Pine Lane when prescription pills belonging to the patient came up missing.
Reports say 7 Dilaudid pain pills were reported missing from the residence and CMPD were notified immediately as well as the state bureau of investigation.
After investigation of the incident police obtained a warrant on Mr. Morris and he was arrested on misdemeanor larceny charges.
This is still an ongoing investigation and additional charges are still pending.
