CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials say unattended cooking in the kitchen caused a fire at an east Charlotte apartment complex.
Investigators say three people were inside the home when the fire started at the Perth Court Apartments on Milton Road.
No one was injured. Red Cross will be assisting the family.
