Santa Clarita, C.A. — One year after the internet blew up with a debate over the colors of a dress, another piece of clothing is now creating controversy.
High school sophomore, Mariam Kabba started a group chat with her friends to prove to them that she thought her Adidas jacket was blue and white rather than the brown and black jacket her friend, Nina Penzo, said it was.
The debate has sparked conversation because other viewers also see the jacket as green and gold or as green and brown.
An overexposed image of “the dress” was posted on Feb. 27th, 2015 where millions argued that the dress was black and blue or white and gold. Penzo was the one who uploaded the picture to Tumblr on Feb. 25th, 2016 where it gathered thousands of responses within minutes.
People have taken to social media to share what they believe the color #TheJacket really is.
