Toyota recently announced that this incredible compact car – which is a bit smaller than the N Charlotte Toyota RAV4 but just as performance-driven – will be making its way to Europe and the US in the coming year. Toyota doesn’t have any subcompact crossovers in its lineup right now, which means the new Toyota CH-R would be a much-needed addition. We’d be pretty excited to see it come to fruition! We have a ton of Toyota SUVs for sale, like:

But nothing in the crossover or subcompact crossover realm. The new Toyota CH-R near Charlotte would be perfect for families who want something that’s performance-driven and stylish, but also a bit roomier than a sedan or hatchback! Here are some of the details our N Charlotte Toyota dealership has managed to scope on the new Toyota CH-R:
- It would go into production in late 2016 – first in Europe, and then make its way to the U.S. sometime in 2017!
- The new Toyota CH-R will most likely have another name by the time it gets to our N Charlotte Toyota dealership; this current name is for the concept vehicle.
- This new Toyota crossover was originally supposed to be housed under the Scion brand, but since the brand is being absorbed, it’ll be a Toyota after all.
- There’s not much information on this vehicle yet; we don’t have specs on it (though it’s rumored to have been seen on an under-wraps test drive already), but Toyota has hinted that a hybrid model would also be up for grabs when it goes on sale!

- It’s a sleek and muscular crossover with exaggerated lines and flares, as well as a two-door design (which would likely become four-door as well in actual production)
- Sculpted wheels and a rear spoiler take the edginess up a notch, as well as a unique grill and long, slim headlights and taillights
- Plus, the concept has been unveiled in eye-catching and bombastic paint colors and we’re sure some, if not all, of them will be carried over into the production vehicle!
