HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Police are investigating a burglary after a car smashed into a jewelry store, then took off.
Huntersville Fire Dept. responded to the incident after it was reported that a vehicle had crashed into a building in Birkdale Commons at Townley Road just after 5am.
The business is Fink’s Jewelers. Officials say the vehicle had already fled the scene before they arrived.
No word how much was taken. Huntersville PD is investigating the incident as a burglary.
No injuries were reported.
