CHARLOTTE, NC (WCCB Charlotte) — The Panthers utility player, Joe Webb, will sign a two-year extension to stay with the Carolina Panthers according to Webb’s agent.

The coaching staff was pleased with Webb’s performance all season long. Webb signed with the Panthers before the 2014 season. This past year, he had a solid performance as quarterback in the preseason games he had a chance to play in.

Webb recovered a fumble in the team’s final home game, a win over Tampa Bay, but was tackled just yards away from the end-zone.

Webb’s versatility is a big reason he has found a home with the Panthers.
