Chicken Waste Spills Onto I-85 On-Ramp

GASTONIA, N.C. – An interstate on-ramp in Gastonia is still closed after chicken waste spilled from an overturned truck. It happened around 5 Friday afternoon. No one was hurt when the truck flipped over on the Chester Street ramp onto northbound I-85. Cleanup is expected to until 1 AM Saturday. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
