Charlotte Firefighter Recovering After Receiving Burns

CHARLOTTE, NC–A Charlotte firefighter is recovering tonight, after he received burns on his face.

The injury happened late this afternoon as crews battled a house fire on Kentbrook Drive.

The home in North Charlotte is destroyed.

Five people lived there. None of them got hurt. One of the residents tells WCCB Charlotte the fire started on the stove.
