CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A deputy with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a car accident while on duty Monday, July 17th.
Deputy Oliver was responding to assist another MCSO Deputy when a driver struck his patrol vehicle.
Deputy Oliver was transported to a hospital with non-threatening life injuries. He has since been released and is safely at home recovering.
