Officials say the deputy involved in Tuesday’s accident has been released from the hospital. She suffered a broken bone as well as some cuts and bruises.
Deputies have also identified the suspect that was being chased at the time of the accident. They are currently trying to locate that person.

FORT MILL, S.C. — A York County Deputy was involved in an accident on Carowinds Boulevard in Fort Mill Tuesday evening.
The female deputy was conducting a traffic stop with a car when the suspect sped off. The deputy pursued that car when she lost control of her patrol car and wrecked.
The deputy was taken to Carolinas Medical Center where she is doing well at this time.
