$5000 Reward Offered In Search for Person(s) Who Burned Puppy

The Humane Society of the United States has issued a $5000 reward for any information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person(s) who mutilated a puppy in York County.
ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police are searching for the person(s) who badly injured a puppy in Rock Hill.
Police responded to 2884 Gordon Road on SaturdayΒ in reference to an animal cruelty case. Upon arrival, Thomas Dozier told officersΒ his beagle pit bull mix puppy had gotten out of its kennel.Β When he found the puppy, itsΒ genitalia had been cut and burned.
The puppy was taken to the veterinarianΒ for treatment. It is expected to be okay.
