$5000 Reward Offered In Search for Person(s) Who Burned Puppy

The Humane Society of the United States has issued a $5000 reward for any information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person(s) who mutilated a puppy in York County.


 

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police are searching for the person(s) who badly injured a puppy in Rock Hill.

Police responded to 2884 Gordon Road on Saturday in reference to an animal cruelty case. Upon arrival, Thomas Dozier told officers his beagle pit bull mix puppy had gotten out of its kennel. When he found the puppy, its genitalia had been cut and burned.

The puppy was taken to the veterinarian for treatment. It is expected to be okay.

Police are searching for the person(s) who seriously injured the puppy. Anyone with information concerning this case should contact the York County Sheriff’s Office at 803-222-8981.
