GASTONIA, N.C. — A Gaston County man has been arrested and charged in connection with an improper relationship with a child.
Jody Victor Wiggins, of Bessemer City, has been taken in to custody following a nearly two month investigation. Wiggins was charged with one count of First Degree Sex Offense with a Child and three counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child and is being held under $500,000.00 secured bond.
According to reports, Wiggins was an acquaintance of the victim prior to the offenses. More information will be provided as it is released.
