CHARLOTTE, NC (WCCB Charlotte) — Josh Norman without a job lasted all of two days.
According to NFL.Com’s Ian Rappaport, Norman will sign a five-year deal with Washington worth $75 million with a reported $50 million in guaranteed money.
Norman’s response came in emoji form on twitter:

The Panthers rescinded the franchise tag offer to Norman on Wednesday with general manager Dave Gettleman citing a change of philosophy of how the $13.96 million dollars should be used. The Panthers play Washington on December 19th — a week 15 Monday Night Football game. With Norman going to Washington, it means there will be two match-ups with the New York Giants and their talented wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. The two had an epic and ugly battle this past season in which the two scuffled, threw punches and had a war of words. Panther players began sounding off on twitter praising Norman for his time with the team.
